I am writing to thank you for making available your wonderful Chinese herbal blends for horses. I have a 20 year old Saddlebred who has Equine Metabolic Syndrome with laminitis. She does well on a controlled diet of grass hay. The last time I ordered herbs, Allison suggested keeping on hand the blend called MMP Stop Solution for acute Laminitis. I decided to take her suggestion, and have it on hand if my mare ever had another episode. I am sure my beloved mare would not be here today if I had not taken her suggestion. This horse has been unable to tolerate any grazing on pasture for 2 years. In early fall my pastures had lush green grass about 8inches high, since they had not been grazed, or cut and we finally had some rain. I was in the process of transitioning my mare to being barefoot and she is kept in a drylot to control her diet.
